NUI’s OEM Partner DB Systems, that integrates NUI Suite Snowflake on their own multi-touch hardware platform, are now shipping their solutions.

DB Systems (DB) operates worldwide and offers a bespoke audio visual hire (AV) and IT rental service for the exhibition, event, conference and experiential industries.

Natural User Interface Europe AB, the sole sponsor of wireless internet for IDC in San Jose is giving away 1 free pass to the technical conference on April 22-23 and 1 free pass to the pre-conference seminar on April 21.

NUI assists National University of Singapore during its 4th NUS Arts Festival (NAF) with its innovative multi-touch technology

The National University of Singapore recently held its 4th NUS Arts Festival (NAF). The focus of this year’s festival is one that would be familiar to most people: the environment and going green. The arts element was woven in, turning it into an Arts & Environment-themed festival.

During the three weekends of the NAF, there were core shows and a host of fringe events – workshops, exhibitions, programs for children, live music performances, and free screenings of international films.

As in previous years, NAF showcases the arts through creative partnerships with various faculties and external industries. This year, NUS Faculty of Science, in addition to celebrating its 80th anniversary at NAF 2009, collaborated with Natural User Interface (NUI), a state-of-the-art Multitouch Systems company, based in Singapore, with its headquarters in Sweden, utilizing their machines to showcase all the media related works of this year’s event….

NUI’s OEM partner Ideum, which uses NUI Suite Snowflake on their MT2 Multitouch, Multiuser Table, received a New Mexico Technology Soluttion award for their product.

Ideum was one of nine organizations recognized at the New Mexico Technology Council’s Fourth Annual TechEx Awards. Sponsored in part by New Mexico Business Weekly, the awards were held at the Hyatt Regency in Albuquerque.

Some of the other awardees included Intel Corporation, Nuvita, Qwest, and Cisco. You can learn more about the New Mexico Technology Council and the TechEx Awards on their Website.
